Growing up takes courage. Tom and his new friend Mike are explorers, doing anything to escape boredom and the dramas of the past. Mike’s mom passed away from cancer recently, and Tom sets out to give him some new distractions, to help him move on with life—forget. In the forest, just outside of town, they discover a hole which hides something beyond belief. Sometimes digging beneath the surface is required to understand the truth. Tom must face the growing feelings he has for the girl next door, and Mike must face the truth of what his mother turned into before her untimely death. It will take a band of friends to dig their way out.
